Mr. Tariq Hussain Abbasi, a seasoned public health economist and program manager, will lead our Health Economics & Finance Certificate Course. With over 10 years in primary- to tertiary-care settings, he currently serves as Research Manager at AKU, designing protocols and data systems for cardio-obstetric research and coordinating Sindh’s family-planning initiatives.
He holds an MA in Economics and a BSc in Pre-Engineering, complemented by certifications in grant writing, monitoring & evaluation, and logistics management. His expertise spans economic evaluation, cost-effectiveness modelling, budgeting for universal health coverage, and health system strengthening through data-driven insights.
